Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in America. It is imperative that health care providers be aware of signs and symptoms of cardiac issues. Unfortunately, many times impending cardiac crises are overlooked because the patient does not present with classic signs and symptoms. 

We have successfully represented the families of young women who have died due to cardiac arrest in the situation where their symptoms were not taken seriously because they were “too young” to have a heart attack, or they had a back pain as opposed to chest pain.
