verdict as against St. Mary's Hospital in Brooklyn
for a young woman who sustained severe brain injury
while under the care of St. Mary's Hospital.
In 2004, Steve Pegalis again won a record breaking
verdict in the amount of $111.7 million for
a young girl also severely injured as a result of
events at or around the time of her birth.
Currently this verdict is the highest in both Nassau
and Suffolk Counties, the fourth highest verdict
in the State and the fifth highest nationally.
Throughout the years, the verdicts won on behalf
